Dr. Lisa Schoene is a triple board-certified podiatrist who has practiced in Lake County and Chicago for more than 30 years. More than 25 of those years were spent working with athletes. This work has developed Dr. Schoene's interest in sports medicine and rehabilitation.

As a certified athletic trainer, Dr. Schoene has worked closely with American athletes during the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta and 1994 World Cup games in Chicago. She also has patients from leading dance troupes including Ballet Chicago, Inaside Chicago Dance, and the Evanston Dance Ensemble. Runners, triathletes, skaters, gymnasts, basketball players, and other athletes all trust Dr. Schoene with their feet. Dr. Schoene is one of only a few professionals qualified as a sports podiatrist and athletic trainer in the country. That makes her the natural choice for active people needing a podiatrist in Chicago or Gurnee.

You can find us in Chicago and Gurnee. Our Chicago podiatrists' practice is at Sports Medicine Associates, located at 401 West Ontario Street, in the River North Gallery District. Take advantage of ample parking in the SP+ Parking station on the next block, or catch the number 37 bus to the Orleans & Erie station just a two-minute walk away.

Our Gurnee practice is at Gurnee Podiatry & Sports Medicine at 351 South Greenleaf Street, Park City. This practice in the northern Chicago metropolitan area helps us serve the Lake County townships of Warren and Waukegan. We have a large on-site parking lot for the convenience of patients and their families.
